Chinese apps banned in India #tiktokbanindia
The Ministry of Information Technology Department of the Government of India has announced to ban 59 Chinese apps across the country on Monday evening. Tiktok App, the most popular short video application running in the country and the most popular of Indian users, has been withdrawn from the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play Store. Users who still have the TikTok app installed can still use this app in a pleasing manner and post videos as well. But in the country, this app is now officially has been banned since Monday.
This is not the first time in India that an app has been banned in India. In the past, the Tiktok app was also banned for blocking the TikTok app for promoting pornography content and users' privacy concerns, but it relied on the Play Store and App Store guidelines for a few days.
